Private puppy school – perfect for pooch’s 8 weeks to 25 weeks of age as well as older pooch’s that have not had foundational class.
Let’s get your pooch off on a successful start with solid foundational skills! This consists of one-hour one on one, personalized sessions spanning seven weeks in your home (or yard, or garage, etc.)
• Understanding dog body language (includes a gift that is a great guide for the whole family)
• Name recognition
• Mouthing
• Handling
• Fitting harnesses and leashes
• Physical and mental enrichment
• Management
• Sit, relaxed down, stay, touch, leave it, drop it, intro to recall, loose leash walking, relax, orienting games, polite greetings, weekly socialization exercises
$980 – pay as you go, pay in increments, pay all at once – whatever is easiest for you. Within 48 hours of each session, you’ll receive an email from me with detailed steps for what we worked on to set you up for success during the week while working with your pooch.
Adolescents and adults – perfect for pooch’s 25 weeks and older that have completed puppy school and/or have a foundational skill set.
Let’s take your pooch and their foundational skills out into the world. This consists of one-hour one on one, personalized sessions spanning seven weeks in your home (or yard, or garage, etc.) as well as out in the world. We will practice at:
• Your neighborhood
• Downtown (Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City – whichever is more convenient for you)
• Near a fenced in dog park
• Dog friendly stores (Home Depot)
• Park settings (think Mary S Young like parks)
$980 – pay as you go, pay in increments, pay all at once – whatever is easiest for you. Within 48 hours of each session, you’ll receive an email from me with detailed steps for what we worked on to set you up for success during the week while working with your pooch.
Foundational skills for pooch’s 25 weeks and up.
I adopted my pooch’s later in their life, so this is where we started together! This is a wonderful choice for new to you dogs, regardless of age. You will find your relationship and communication blossom through learning to speak to one another through foundational skills. This consists of one-hour one on one, personalized sessions spanning seven weeks in your home (or yard, or garage, etc.)

• Name recognition
• Mouthing
• Handling
• Fitting harnesses and leashes
• Physical and mental enrichment
• Management

Reactivity – is your pooch struggling when seeing other people or dogs? Let’s help them feel better about these situations! This training option consists of one-hour one on one, personalized sessions spanning eight weeks in your home and the surrounding area when your pooch is ready. Let’s work on:
• Understanding dog body language (includes a gift that is a great guide for the whole family)
• Leash handling skills
• Management in and out of your home to set your pooch up for success
• Let’s talk about your pooch’s triggers, trigger stacking, thresholds and emotional cups. This is often eye opening and helps to understand your pooch on a new level.
• Redirection and disengagement games to help ease your pooch’s emotional state
• Calming exercises
• Focusing exercises
• Polite and comfortable greetings
• Daily physical and/or mental enrichment activities
• There are times where a pooch may need to see a veterinary behaviorist for their best benefit. We are lucky to have two fantastic ones in the area. If this would benefit your pooch, I’ll help guide you to our local expert veterinary behaviorists.

Brush up on skills – an a la carte training plan based on individual needs. This consists of one hour one on one, personalized training plans based on the needs of your pooch.
• Have you and your pooch been through training previously, either self-taught, with a trainer or group class?
• Are some cues losing their luster and you are finding communication gaps with your pooch? Let’s create a custom plan for you and your pooch to get back on the same team.

Loose leash walking – are you struggling working as a team with your pooch while on leash? Let’s work on making walks enjoyable for you and your pooch! This training option consists of one hour sessions spanning four weeks. Let’s work on:
• Understanding dog body language (includes a gift that is a great guide for the whole family)
• Leash handling skills
• Orientating games
• Focus games
• Relaxing while walking
• The importance of sniffy walks
• Strengthening the teamwork relationship between you and your pooch
• Working up to distractions while on leash

Getting ready to adopt – whether from a breeder, rescue, or shelter?
What dog should you adopt? What should you look for in a breeder? What should you ask the rescue or shelter about the dog? What would be a good dog for your lifestyle? What should you do to prepare your home and your life? I will help guide you to make a sound decision in a field of so many options.

Kids and dogs living together – this can be a tricky one, right parents?!?
We will empower your children in a fun and informative setting to help them to understand dog body language, when we play as well as leave the dog alone, how to pet, how to give treats, how to stay safe, and so much more. We will color, tell stories, and teach them to be their pooch’s kindest friend.
$210 for a 90-minute consult. Includes a gift that is a great guide for the whole family.
Hourly sessions: $140 per hour
